Community rules
Version 1.0, published on
Dualove is a place where adults meet and treat each other with respect. Three rules, zero exceptions: you accept them when you sign up and they apply to everything you post and send. They complement the Terms of use.
1. Respect
- No harassment, insults, threats, humiliation or blackmail.
- No discrimination or hate speech: origin, religion, orientation, gender identity, disability, appearance, age.
- A "no" is a no. So is silence. You don't push after a refusal, and you don't pressure anyone for a date, for contact details or for photos.
- No spam: no mass copy-pasted messages, no repeated follow-ups.
- What happens in a conversation stays in the conversation: no screenshots, photos or information about another person shared elsewhere.
2. Authenticity
- Your photos are photos of you, recent, with your face visible in at least one of them. No photo of someone else, no AI-generated face, no celebrity.
- Your first name is your own and your age is the real one. No impersonation, no profile on someone else's behalf.
- One account per person. No new account after a ban.
- No bots, scripts or automation.
3. No explicit or commercial content
- No nudity or sexual content, in photos, bios or messages. No unsolicited sexual propositions.
- No soliciting: no prostitution or escorting, no promotion of paid content, no advertising, no recruiting, no pyramid schemes, no proselytizing.
- Never money. No one asks for money, gifts, cryptocurrency, bank details or codes. Any attempted scam leads to an immediate ban.
- Nothing illegal: drugs, weapons, violence, glorification of hate or terrorism. Any content involving minors leads to an immediate ban and a report to the authorities.
If the rules are broken
- Every report is reviewed by a person, normally within 24 hours. The last 30 messages of the conversation are attached automatically so that moderation can judge on the evidence.
- Measures are graded by severity: warning, messaging restriction, temporary suspension, permanent ban.
- Zero tolerance, immediate ban: threats and violence, sexual content involving minors, scams and requests for money, prostitution and soliciting, hate speech.
- Every measure is notified to you with its reason. You can appeal it from the app ("Appeal the decision") or by email to hello@dualove.app; another member of the team reviews the case and gets back to you.
- The person reported is never told who reported them. Blocking someone is silent: you disappear for each other.
Your part
