Getting to know Dualove
What makes Dualove different from other dating apps?
Two things: discovery happens as a face-off, two profiles at a time, with no swipe and no reject button; and message translation lets you talk to someone whose language you do not speak.
Is Dualove available on iPhone and Android?
The app comes to Android first, then iOS. The download links on this site point to the stores as soon as a version is published there.
Do I have to pay to use Dualove?
No. Signing up, discovery, matches, conversations, photos and translation are free. Dualove Plus is an optional subscription.
How many people can I see per day?
Without a subscription, 20 face-offs a day, so 40 profiles. Skipping both profiles does not count against that limit.
Is there a web version of Dualove?
No. Dualove is a native mobile app. This site presents the product; you cannot sign up or chat from it.
Account and profile
How do I create an account?
With a phone number, an email address, Apple or Google. A code sent by text or email confirms it is you, then you fill in your profile. Sign-up is for adults only.
Can I sign up without a photo?
Yes. Photos are optional: a neutral silhouette stands in on your card and you still appear in face-offs. You can add photos at any time.
Can I change my city or my search radius?
Yes, in the settings, as often as you like. The radius goes up to 50 km on the free tier and up to 200 km with Dualove Plus.
How do I delete my account?
From the app settings. Your profile leaves discovery immediately, then everything is erased a few days later, long enough for you to change your mind.
Can I change the language of the app?
Yes, in the settings, among the five interface languages: French, English, Spanish, German and Italian.
Privacy and safety
Who can see my profile?
The people you are looking for who are also looking for you, inside the area you chose. Your profile is not public on the web and is not indexed by search engines.
How do I report unacceptable behaviour?
From the profile or the conversation concerned, in two taps. Messaging stops on both sides while it is reviewed, and a copy of the reported content is kept as evidence.
Can I get a copy of my data?
Yes, from the settings, once your email address is verified. You receive a file containing your profile, your photos, your messages and your account history.
Dualove Plus
What does Dualove Plus give me?
Five things: unlimited face-offs, a radius up to 200 km, the list of people who liked you, the ability to go back on a face-off, and picking your city by hand. Nothing that makes you more visible.
How much does Dualove Plus cost?
The price depends on the country and the period you pick. It is shown in the app before any purchase, in your local currency.
How do I cancel?
From the subscription settings of your App Store or Google Play account. It stays active until the end of the period you paid for, then the account goes back to free without losing anything.
