Meeting someone in Rome
In Rome you agree to meet "around nine" and that is precise enough. Dualove shows you two people at a time, and you choose.
Three first dates that work in Rome
An aperitivo in Monti
The steps on Piazza della Madonna dei Monti: you arrive with no plan and it works anyway.
A walk through Trastevere
Alleys, cobbles and no hurry: you walk more than you drink.
Sunset from the Gianicolo
The whole city below, and a view that fills any silence.
Meeting people in Rome
Rome is enormous and lived neighbourhood by neighbourhood: nobody crosses the city without a good reason, and evenings are built around where you live.
Monti, Trastevere, San Lorenzo, Testaccio, Pigneto: each has its own crowd and its own hours. On Dualove you do not scroll the city: two people appear side by side and you pick one.
That is exactly what the distance on each card is for: knowing whether someone is ten minutes away or on the far side of the ring road.
Two profiles, one choice
Each round shows two people. The heart goes to one; the other will never know and can come up again later. There is no reject button.
The conversation only opens if you both chose each other, and you each write in your own language.
Questions about Rome
Are there people on Dualove in Rome?
The city and the towns around it form one pool: Ostia, Fiumicino, Guidonia and the Castelli are part of it, and plenty of dates happen halfway.
I just moved to Rome, where do I start?
In your own neighbourhood. That is where a second drink gets decided without checking the time of the last tram.
